Nguyễn Thanh Tùng known professionally as Sơn Tùng M-TP, is a Vietnamese singer-songwriter and actor. Born and raised in Thái Bình City, Thái Bình Province, his family discovered his singing ability when he was two years old. His self-written 2012 and 2013 singles, 'Cơn mưa ngang qua' and 'Em của ngày hôm qua' launched his career. These were followed by successful singles such as 'Chắc ai đó sẽ về', 'Lạc trôi' and 'Nơi này có anh'. In 2017, Tùng released the compilation album m-tp M-TP and published his autobiography 'Chạm tới giấc mơ'.

'Making My Way' shows the spirit of breaking free from familiar ruts and embarking on a new adventure. The song 'Making My Way' is performed fully in English with the goal of introducing Vietnamese music to the rest of the globe. Son Tung M-TP said: 'What is repeated will become natural, and it will become something normal. That is why Tung made a choice. That is stepping down from Tung's'mountain' and looking for another 'mountain' to climb and conquer.
