Across the ocean, in Bromsgrove, England, Fred Deeley Sr. opened a bicycle shop that would soon lead to a monumental partnership with Harley-Davidson. In 1917, this collaboration resulted in the third-ever Harley-Davidson dealership agreement and the first outside the United States, firmly establishing Deeley’s presence in Vancouver, Canada.

Under the leadership of Fred Deeley Jr. and later his son, Trev Deeley, the dealership grew and expanded, making a name for itself in the Pacific Northwest motorcycle scene. Trev, a passionate racer, earned the nickname "Mr. Motorcycle" and became a legend in both the racing world and the motorcycle industry. In the 1970s, Trev, alongside business partner Don James, transformed the dealership into the exclusive distributor for Harley-Davidson across Canada, significantly expanding their network from 13 to nearly 90 dealerships nationwide.

Over the years, the Deeley family, together with their trusted partners, continued to innovate and grow, leading to the creation of the Deeley Motorcycle Exhibition, a museum celebrating the brand's history. The dealership has been passed down through five generations, with each new leader building on the legacy of those before them. Today, under the leadership of Darren James, Trev Deeley's grandson, the dealership remains a vibrant part of the Harley-Davidson community, offering the latest models and a deep appreciation for its storied past.
