Lindau ist eine Stadt am Bodensee im deutschen Bundesland Bayern. Sie ist für ihre Altstadtinsel bekannt. Im Hafen befinden sich die Statue des Bayerischen Löwen und der steinerne Lindauer Leuchtturm mit Blick auf den See und die Berge. An der Seepromenade am Hafen steht der Mangturm aus dem 12. Jahrhundert, ein ehemaliger Wachturm mit einem spitzen Ziegeldach. Nahe der von Restaurants gesäumten Maximilianstraße liegt das gotische alte Rathaus mit seiner bemalten Fassade
