Описание к видео Castlevania HD: Chapter 10 - Jonathan Miniboss Skips

!!!READ DESCRIPTION!!!

Been a long time since my previous upload. This time, I show that it is possible to skip fighting all of the minibosses in Chapter 10 as Jonathan on Solo gameplay. I also don't classify the R. Vampire Bat as a Miniboss. Just R. Medusa Queen, R. Mummy Man, R. The Creature, and R. Grim Reaper. If it doesn't unlock a door, then it's not a Miniboss. :3

This session, I used two spots to glitch past the minibosses using the 'Sonic Strike' acceleration glitch.

Spot 1: This is in the hidden room on the first floor. Passing through is known to drop the Crown, which gives out bonus points. Simply head up to the Green Chest, open it if you want and position yourself behind the chest. This next part is pinpoint accuracy. It was hard finding the exact location at first. Make sure the last pixel on Jonathan's foot is inside the chest bottom. Takes a while to position perfectly. Once in position, do a standing Sonic Strike. Just as you reach the end of the dash, and if you were in the right position, you have maybe 3-4 frames to jump. If I were you, I'd jump and keep it held so he catches the wall and rides up. If your lucky enough, you'll catch the wall and ride up, and through the floor to the left. It's really good for speed-running if you ask me. Just jump once you see stairs. :P This skips the 'Medusa Queen'.

Spot 2: You'll need a few 'R. Raven's' for using to down kick on to get to this next spot. At least two in case one goes farther away or inside the room with 'R. The Creature'. Once your up there, count six blocks from the edge and here's how I used to figure out the second Sonic Strike positioning. When facing left, look at his left leg and where the color is thin and long, I use that for lining up on a normal occasion. I lined it up with the white line on the block I dashed from.

Using these methods, I successfully skipped all minibosses as Jonathan without the aid from the elevator room. This is very good for skipping to the boss to farm for Retro equipment if you don't have another Vampire Hunter, and if you want to go solo, and not face a miniboss.

ALSO!!! If anyone is caring what I got out of the chest on that run, it was 'Simon's Bandanna'. sadface

Before I forget, lemme give a big thanks to kuroiwahiryu for the Sonic Strike usage for this glitch! Also, I wanted to upload what I accomplished. Even if this is 'taken' or 'stolen', this is here to prove I did it. :)

Retro Raven A.I.

I have several friends who have trouble with this, so I made a quick A.I. description on how they function.

The R. Raven when in an active state, constantly homes in on the player, aimed at the players legs(or the bottom 'block' of a player), as thats the fixed point they're programmed to aim at. This being said, gives trouble who R. Raven hops on top of "R. The Creature's" room.

Simple enough, when drop-kicking up, you should note that you need to give lengthy drop-kicks, which means longer time in-between your kicks to ensure when you need to drop-kick again.

The way R. Raven is set-up, you need to time you drop-kicks just as soon as they stop, or while they're in motion. A simple way to make sure they don't fly off in messed-up directions is to time your drop kicks explained above, though when using groups of the R. Ravens, it is simple to note which one your going to drop kick next.

Depending on the x-axis, and y-axis of the raven targeted, compared to your character, will determine the spot they'll fly to next. If your in front of the raven, but at least 2 blocks higher than the Raven itself, the Raven will fly up, and a little bit backwards. However, if your too low, but within 1 block's range, the Raven will fly towards you at a much faster pace, and will cause you to miss your drop kick, or will deal damage, stopping your Raven hover, resulting in a forced chapter run-through/elevator glitch use. If you happen to 'kill' these ravens by accident before reaching the platform, or if you made it, killed them, but fell off by accident, there's several more to the right before "R. Mummy Man" miniboss room! About 8 or 9 I believe.

The R. Raven hover is a simple way of ensuring no damage when opening the elevator door for other friends unless your having trouble with the Ravens of course when playing as Jonathan. Hope this helps those of you that have trouble with the R. Raven hover! If your still having trouble, leave a comment!
