Directly south of Hyndman Peak sits a nice couloir off of Cobb Peak. It is called the North Couloir on Cobb. It is a sliver of snow, wide enough to ski down, a great hike and a great ski down. I didn't know it existed before I went up to ski Hyndman, and the look of this Couloir was too good to pass up. I didn't know the name of it at the time I skied it, so I coined it Chow Mein for the mean time. From the apron, the climb is a little less than 1,000 vertical feet. The steepest pitch is probably 45 or 47 degrees. I would error on the 47 degree side. There is definitely a no fall zone on the left, as it cliffs out, so you don't want to fall.
