I first met Manoj Bajpayee before his career defining ‘Satya’ & subsequently I wrote, sound designed, voiced & produced radio spots / promos for his film ‘Ghaath’. Yes we’ve become friends & there’s an easy camaraderie there. Manoj remains committed to his craft & really believes work is worship. Also he is one person who immensely appreciates a small gesture that I end my interviews with. I give a money plant to my guests! To nurture & to cherish & keep in their homes. Because of all the above factors & a few others, interviews with Manoj are special.

An old friend of mine from my college days Mohit Choudhry, is a much respected publicist & he 1st called me & told me about this Los Angeles based Indian film maker who is creating waves. Dipesh Jain apart from studying film at University of Southern California ( where Steven Spielberg & Robert Zemeckis studied ) also picked up a prestigious DGA ( Directors Guild Of America ) award for his student film. It was only a matter of time before Dipesh made his 1st full length feature. ‘Gali Guleiyan’ starring Manoj Bajpayee & others is that feature.
