He was one of the greatest singers and most influential qawwali artist of all time. Maqbool Sabri along with his brother The Legendary Ustad Haji Ghulam Fareed Sabri led The Sabri Brothers which remains the greatest qawwali ensemble of all time in modern history. Their contributions in reviving Traditional Qawwali , the form of music devoloped by Hazrat Ameer Khusro (Amir Khusro) and their contributions promoting the Islamic Culture and Culture of Subcontinent to the west will never be forgotten and their legacy will always live on with the existence of their masterworks.
