Rhodos die TOP Urlaubsinsel und eines der beliebtesten Ziele zum Kite- und Windsurfen? Davon wollten wir uns selbst überzeugen :-) Die Insel ist von vielen europäischen Flughäfen nur wenige Stunden entfernt, die Sonne scheint über 3.000 Stunden im Jahr und von April bis Oktober lockt der zuverlässige Wind jährlich Kiter und Windsurfer auf die Insel.
Wie haben uns den Spot in Rhodos Theologos und das neue Logos Beach Village einmal genauer angeschaut.

Die Studios und die großzügigen Glamping Zelte bieten Familien, Alleinreisenden und Pärchen eine stylische und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtete Unterkunft inmitten einer grünen Gartenoase.
Der Spot bietet sowohl für Anfänger als auch für Fortgeschrittene neben einer perfekten Infrastruktur und Anschluss zu Gleichgesinnten, perfekte und abwechslungsreiche Bedingungen für das Kitesurfen und Windsurfen. Egal ob Freerider oder Freestyler - für jeden ist was dabei! Der Meltemi ist der vorherrschende Wind auf Rhodos. Er weht von April bis Oktober jeden Mittag konstant „sideshore“ aus südwestlicher Richtung. Vor allem die perfekte Eignung zum Foilen hat uns gefallen.

Weiterhin haben wir uns in Rhodos Stadt auf Entdeckungstour begeben, die bei Touristen sehr beliebte Stadt Lindos angesehen, sind in der Anthony Quinn Bay schnorcheln gegangen und sind im Blutopia Aquamarine Park mit Tausenden von Fischen geschwommen.

Rhodes the TOP holiday island and one of the most popular destinations for kite and windsurfing? We wanted to convince ourselves of this :-) The island is only a few hours away from many European airports, the sun shines over 3,000 hours a year and from April to October the reliable wind attracts kiters and windsurfers to the island every year.
We took a closer look at the spot in Rhodes Theologos and the new Logos Beach Village.

The studios and the spacious glamping tents offer families, solo travelers and couples a stylish and lovingly furnished accommodation in the middle of a green garden oasis.
In addition to a perfect infrastructure and connection to like-minded people, the spot offers perfect and varied conditions for kitesurfing and windsurfing for both beginners and advanced. Whether freerider or freestyler - there is something for everyone! The Meltemi is the prevailing wind in Rhodes. It blows constantly “sideshore” from the south-west every lunchtime from April to October. We especially liked the perfect suitability for foiling.

We also went on a discovery tour in Rhodes Town, the city of Lindos, which is very popular with tourists, snorkeled in Anthony Quinn Bay and swam with thousands of fish in the Blutopia Aquamarine Park.
