LAKE BUTTERMERE | A 5 Mile Circular Solo Hike In Winter | Lake District National Park

Come along with me on a short & easy walk in the Lake District National Park around the incredibly beautiful Lake Buttermere. I parked at the St James' church just on the edge of the village of Buttermere (during busier months there is plenty of parking in the National Trust car park in the village), and it took me just under 2 hours to complete the walk around the lake. I'd recommend this walk for anyone visiting the Lakes for the first time as it is the perfect introductory walk to give you a flavour of what this famous National Park has to offer for very little effort!
