HOUSE OF HANCOCK tells the epic and outrageous story of the Hancock dynasty and the bizarre relationship between the father Lang, his daughter Gina and the beautiful Filipina housekeeper Rose Lacson.
Born into incredible wealth and privilege, Gina Hancock (Mandy McElhinney) was never going to lead a normal life. The daughter of arch-conservative, secessionist and mining prospector Lang Hancock (Sam Neill), Gina was groomed to run the company from an early age. After Lang’s near fatal heart attack and the death of her mother Hope, Gina finally begins to run the company and achieve the family’s ultimate goal – to own and operate their own iron ore mine.
In a loving attempt to help her ailing father, Gina employs a new housekeeper to help get him back on track... a gorgeous Filipina called Rose Lacson (Peta Sergeant) - not realising that it will be a decision that will tear apart their family for generations to come.
