Palmer, a Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas TX., reviews his article appearing in the February 2020 issue of Mayo Clinic Proceedings, where he discusses the benefits of two newly approved treatments for hyperkalemia: sodium zirconium cyclosilicate and patiromer.
