The Historical Costuming Community has a Problem

Thank you for watching "The Historical Costuming Community has a Problem"! This is a video that I should've made a long time about about various events that have taken place in the historical costuming community but sometimes even the bravest and most outspoken of us stays silent.

This problem creates further division, fosters a breeding ground where inclusiveness is put to the side, and fails to make events equitable.

I wanted to make this video because there has been a misconception that only white women are speaking up on these points. The white women who are speaking up are amplifying black voices who agree with me. I also want to clarify that white people who do reenacting, living history, and other education mediums should please keep dressing up an educating people, this video isn't about the good work y'all do.
