Let me go is the first song dialogue after the opening performance by the cast .The music features ideas from Asaadua, a Ghanaian traditional dance music with a fast tempo rhythm that belongs to the Akan ethnicity. this scene is more confrontational between Akwasi and Akosua. Akwasi wishes to have Akosua as his betrothed. However Akwasi's idea of marriage is lavishing Akosua with Gifts, thus a ticket to marriage. Since marriage through this method is not achievable their friendship become chaotic. The fast tempo, the vigorous music accompaniment in addition to the mood, and delivery of the performance communicates directly to the audience what is about to happen.
