To launch an EC2 Windows instance on AWS, you will need to complete the following steps:

1. Sign in to the AWS Management Console and navigate to the EC2 dashboard.
2. Click on the "Launch Instance" button to start the process of launching a new instance.
3. Select the "Windows" option from the list of available operating systems.
4. Choose the desired instance type. The instance type will determine the number of virtual CPUs and amount of memory for the instance.
5. Configure the instance details such as the number of instances, network, and storage options.
6. In the "Configure Security Group" step, you can configure the inbound and outbound rules for your instance's security group.
7. Review your instance's configuration and launch the instance by clicking on "Launch."
8. Select an existing key pair or create a new key pair to connect to your instance.
9. Wait for the instance to enter the "running" state.
10. Connect to your instance using Remote Desktop Connection (RDP) by using the public IP address or the Elastic IP address (if you have assigned one) and the private key of your key pair.
11. Once you are connected, you can start using your Windows instance on AWS.
12. Remember that you will be charged for the usage of the instance while it's running, as well as for the storage and data transfer. So, make sure to stop or terminate the instance when you are not using it to avoid unnecessary costs.
