Bastion Misawa - High DEF OTK deck for LOTD:LE (TheBoomerProject)

As you've seen in this video:    • Bastion Misawa - DeckOut / Stun deck ...   Bastion Misawa has a strategic mind and he is building his decks to in a way to get advantage of every little window in the rulebook. This strategy called by some duelists, "The big booty OTK". You basically abuse the monster's effect "Stone Statue of the Aztecs" which deals double the damage. With some other cards you can increase this cards DEF even higher for even bigger damage output.

There is also an interesting mechanic with "Dimension Wall" as you can see in the video.

If your opponent doesn't want to attack you, you can force his monsters to attack via "Savage Collosseum" or "Battle Mania".

The most important thing to remember when dueling is the order of activating your card effects when you increase "Stone Statue of the Aztecs" DEF.

1."D2 Shield" should be always being used as the last card in the chain, this means that it will be activated first as a result. That way it doesn't mess things with "Stronghold Guardian" or even "Rise to Full Height".

2.On the other hand "Rise to Full Height" should be used as the first card in the chain, this way it's gonna double the whole DEF of the monster!

3. "Stronghold Guardian" should be always the second card in the chain.

This deck is slow but via :Giant Rat" and "Mystic Tomato" you can have up to 2 level 4 monsters on field for abusing the Utopia and Dreadnought engines. While "Giant Rat" can special summon "Millennium Shield" or even Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei, it's not wise to use so high DEF monsters cause your opponent rarely has something stronger to attack. Most Boss monsters in Yugioh have around 3000 ATK and that's why I use "U.A. Goalkeeper" with 2800 DEF which has a very strong effect too.

In the side deck you can find even more cards that can be helpful with DEF strategies, but I want to keep this deck at 40 with nice synergy. The other tactic to use is "Scrum Force" with "Hand-Holding Genie" or with "Unity", while "Mage Power" and "United we Stand" can give you even more ATK or DEF.
