Harmony Gold vs Piranha Games and Harebrained Schemes: Update on the Battletech Lawsuit

The ongoing lawsuit between Harmony Gold, owners of the Robotech IP, against Mechwarrior Online and Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries developers Piranha Games and Battletech Developers Harebrained Schemes rages on as Harmony Gold filed a motion for a Letter of Request or “Letter Rogatory” in order to discover a legal basis for their now year long copyright lawsuit. Piranha Games has filed a motion that would prevent this request that could take a year or more to complete, if granted.
