Baking and decorating cupcakes with Zhuri

Welcome back!! This episode is all about making chocolate cupcakes from scratch! Zhuri and Dena make the most delicious desserts together. Check out this recipe and make sure to tell us how much you love it on Instagram!

Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients:
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. water
1 c. AP flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1.5 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. buttermilk
1/8 tsp. pink salt

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Measure out your ingredients!
3. Cream butter + sugar in mixer. Add egg, then buttermilk + vanilla.
4. In a separate bowl, sift flower, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
5. Add to mixer when well blended! Be sure to scrape sides of the bowl!
6. Fill your muffin tins about 3/4s full with cupcake batter!
7. Bake for 20 minutes!
8. Add your favorite frosting and sprinkles on top! (optional)
9. ENJOY!
