'Bomber' by Len Deighton - Part 2

The second 45 minutes or so of the radio adaptation of Len Deighton's wartime novel 'Bomber' based in 1943 on a fictional series of events surrounding men and women on both sides , but in particular on the crew of Lancaster O for Orange. In this part the RAF crews prepare for the raid and we learn more about the citizens of Altgarten.

I do not own the audio recording (it belongs to the respective rights holders) but feel that it should be shared for all to hear to gain at least some sort of insight into the sacrifice made by the Men of Bomber Command during WW2.

The image used is my own taken @ IWM Hendon . I am aware WW2 and the bomber command offensive is a thorny issue but I won't tolerate deliberatley inflammatory , racist or political views.So please keep your comments respecful.

Please just enjoy what is a dramatic , moving, and at times incredibly sad story.
