Carly is sad that she is not going to watch the 4th of July fireworks, because of the air quality due to smoke from the wildfires coming from Canada. But Danielle shares the good news with Carly, that the show will still go on. Danielle wanted to take Carly to the fireworks event at Navy Pier, the day after Independence Day.

But it turns out that it has rained and the show has been cancelled, much to Carly's disappointment. But her friend once again cheers her up, by planning to go the following Saturday.
