The field recording Slack had a fun challenge this month to isolate sounds from a recording. I used Izotope Rx 6 to do this.

In this video I went through my typical process of denoising.
First, I analyzed it. Then I repaired the "worst first" which in this case was traffic rumble. Then I continued by finding the next most offensive noises and removing them one by one. I tried a few tricks that didn't work in this video, but it was live and I imagine it will help others to see my process here.
