KNOW BEFORE YOU GO! Tents should ALWAYS be rain/water tested in a safe environment before being put to the test in real conditions. It is a simple test that can save your trip. Or in more extreme situations, could save your life.
In this video I set up my MSR Freelite 1 solo tent in the rain and let it sit there. It was 6 hours before the rain stopped.
