Yougar’s YGS CNC Tilting Head Series is a fully controlled CNC EDM drilling machine with a moving (tilting) head design that ensures superior smoothness of motion and stability when compared to fixed-head moving table style EDM drills.

Drilling is preformed using rotating brass or copper tubular electrodes from 0.004” to 0.118” in diameter. A reliable high pressure pump employs adjustable through-spindle flushing from 0~750 P.S.I., allowing for the best possible performance with any size electrode. Maximum workpiece weight is 440 pounds. This series has a large touchscreen panel on the PC allowing the operator to either manually enter drilling positions or easily import them from a DXF file stored on an external source. Common interfaces for data transfer such as USB or TCP/IP come standard.

A built-in supply module for the dielectric system is designed internally into the machine saving space and maintenance. The water dielectric fluid is filtered to 3um to 20um using a standard replaceable paper filter cartridge. The clean water is monitored using an ION Quality Sensor and mixed bed ION Exchange Resin to maintain proper conductivity which is critical for best performance and repeatability.

The YGS CNC Series machines are capable of up to 8 fully programmable axis making it an excellent choice for any application no matter how complex.
