In this video, I’ll teach you how to use the Wise mobile app to send, receive, and manage money internationally. Wise (formerly TransferWise) is one of the most popular platforms for low-cost global transfers and multi-currency accounts.

After downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play, log in to your account and start by creating different currency accounts. With just a few taps, you can open balances in USD, EUR, CAD, GBP, and more. Each account comes with local account details and SWIFT codes, so you can easily receive payments from abroad.

Adding funds to your Wise account is simple. Tap on Add Money, select the currency, and link your bank account or debit card to make a deposit. You can also use Wise to send payments to yourself, other people, or businesses. Just head to the Send section, enter the amount, pick the receiving currency, and review the fees and exchange rates.

Wise also lets you request payments directly from clients by generating a payment request. Once they accept, the money is securely transferred to your Wise account. For extra flexibility, you can even order a Wise debit card, which allows you to spend directly from your currency balances worldwide.
