Hello everyone, in this short video I have explained the background of the Controversial Gyanvapi Issue!

Timeline:
⏩ In 1991, the first petition was filed seeking permission to worship on the Gyanvapi mosque premises.
⏩ 30 years later in 2021, the Allahabad High Court stayed proceedings in the Kashi Vishwanath Mandir-Gyanvapi Masjid case and said no to an archaeological survey of the premises to determine whether a Hindu temple was partially demolished to build the mosque.
⏩ 5 women went to court seeking to worship the Shringar Gauri and other idols within the Gyanvapi mosque complex in 2023.
⏩ A Varanasi court ordered video survey of the campus after the petition.
⏩ An ASI survey was conducted and on January 2024 the ASI handed over its report which suggested that the temple existed before the mosque structure was built.
⏩A Varanasi district court allowed the Hindu side to offer prayers in the southern cellar of Gyanvapi mosque.
