In the learning and practice of Dhamma in today’s ever-changing and dynamic environment, have we remained steadfast in the endeavour to train the mind? Have we sufficiently strengthened our fortitude to face challenges posed by the pandemic? Let us reflect on these pertinent questions amongst others, in a special interview with Venerable Ajahn Jayasaro this Sunday 28 November, held in conjunction with Sangha Day B.E. 2565 Observance.

Ajahn Jayasaro was born in England in 1958. He joined Ajahn Sumedho’s community for the Rains Retreat as an ‘anagarika’ in 1978 and later that year, left for Wat Pah Pong in Northeast Thailand, where he was later ordained a bhikkhu with Ajahn Chah as his Preceptor. From 1997 to 2002, Ajahn Jayasaro was the Abbot of Wat Pah Nanachat. Ajahn is a distinguished author and editor of several publications, including the popular “Without and Within”, and the extensive biography of Ven. Ajahn Chah entitled “Stillness Flowing”. He now resides in a hermitage at the foothills of Kao Yai mountain.
The interview will be conducted by Achariya S. Vijaya, Chairman of Nalanda Education Committee.
