Trains at Coleraine, BDL - 19/5/19

Welcome to Episode 1 of Big Trip Northern Ireland! Today I am at Coleraine on the Belfast to Derry Line as well as the junction of the Portrush Line where services are seen by Translink NI Railways.

Coleraine was a pretty station with nice views in both directions especially with the junction in sight so you can see the lines divulge in both directions when trains leave. I found the station architecture to be slightly ran down but well looked after with a classical station sign, a very unique style indeed! The policy here was very strict too, I was almost thrown off my filming for my entire trip as passengers are not allowed onto the platforms until a certain time, however the staff were great and allowed me onto the platform to film. A lovely little station, I'd recommend it but on a weekday for sure!
