For senior travelers, the old town is very walkable and accessible, with a few rises in elevation. I would not advise the hike up to the Fortress because of the quality of the path. The city of Centinje was lovely. There are several museums, so you could spend a day there.

For solo travelers, it is easy to explore the Old Town on your own. The excursions up the mountain and to Centinje and Budva would require reserving a motorcoach tour.
