As part of a class taught at the Naval Academy by Major Thomas Schueman, USMC, my team and I were given the opportunity and honor of retelling the story of 1stLt Robert Kelly, USMC. 1stLt Kelly was killed by an IED during a combat patrol in Sangin, Afghanistan on 9 Nov. 2010. This is the story of his sacrifice and lasting legacy.
