Aye dewds, Maximo was released in 2001, published by Capcom and Developed by Capcom Digital Studios. There was only ever two Maximo games, both on Playstation 2. Upon release they did fairly well with reviews but the second lacked the sales to warrant a third.

I loved these games as a kid and as an adult it’s still fun. Platformers are one of my favourite genres and I love them on all systems, another classic coming for my next review too! albiet even more niche than Maximo hahaha.

I don't do spoiler free reviews because I want to share with you my experience, all the parts I found important or interesting anyway. The Gameplays fun, the platformings fun, and it has plenty to give in the way of old school Playstation 2 platformers.
