Today I'm in the deep South of Poland near the Czech border. I'm in a small city called Nowa Ruda. Here they have an old coal mine that is now abandoned. But during the communist times, it was an active mine run by the Soviets who occupied Poland. They would force Poles to work in the mines to enrich Russia. Today I will explore the mine with a group of Polish people. I can't wait to find out what's inside.
