I ruined the paint on the VW Caddy trying to fix stone chips

I this video I attempted to tidy up some of the stone chips on the front of the VW Caddy but it didn't go to plan. Unfortunately, I would have been in a better situation if I had just left them or done them how I thought they should be done. However, I bought into a product I thought would get the paint work back to original and It was terrible.
In order to attempt to fix it I resorted to Meguires compound which was the only product I could get at such short notice. It's not perfect but this is a huge improvement on where I was up to with it.
