How to Pick Apples... the right way!

Our Orchard Manager Kyle shows you the proper way to pick apples at Wilson's Orchard & Farm. Picking the right way reduces ugly bumps and bruises on the fruit and leaves the spur intact for future fruit production.

At the farm, we use signs and markers to designate which rows are ready for picking, but not every fruit on the tree is going to ripen at the same rate. In this video, Kyle gives you some clues to look for to tell if an apple is ripe and ready to pick.
