In this video I'm installing the JW Offroad tire carrier for my Lexus GX460, I tried to be as detailed as possible so this is a long video, hopefully this will help others DIY installations.

For the extended connection cables, just cut them in the middle and then make sure you match the colors of the wire at each end. Then use the wire connectors, don't forget heat shrink.
