How to Do a Finishing Move in Black Ops 6 - Perform Execution in BO6

In this video I will be showing you how to do a finishing move in Black Ops 6. A finishing move is typically performed by sneaking up on an enemy. However, you can also slide or dive past an enemy to use a finishing move. When close enough behind a player a prompt will appear showing you two options. The first option is to use the enemy as a body shield by double-tapping the melee button. Meanwhile, you can also perform an execution by instead holding down your melee button.

When you are using someone as a body shield you will also have the option to perform a finishing move. Doing so will require you to hold down the melee button. Alternatively, you can also quickly eliminate a player you have in a body shield.

If you find it easier to double-tap the melee button then you can change the settings. Doing so will instead require you to hold down the melee button to use the body shield mechanic. You can change these settings through the Combat Advanced Settings for your input device. Typically, this will be under the controller settings. However, if you play with PC inputs then you will want to select Mouse & Keyboard.

The setting you will want to change is the Swap Body Shield and Execution Behavior option. Doing so will swap the body shield and execution input requirement when you sneak up on an enemy. Fortunately, you can change this at any time.
