EL HALCÓN ... un homenaje al cine de lucha libre

Durante sus días de gloria, El Halcón (Guillermo Quintanilla) luchó por la justicia. Un día, un terrible suceso cambia el rumbo de su vida y la de todos los luchadores, quienes se ven obligados a retirarse del ojo público. Ramón permanece alejado del ring y continúa su vida junto a su hijo Pancho (Ianis Guerrero), como dueño de una taquería donde deben lidiar con la pandilla de matones que aterroriza a Tijuana.

Cuando Pancho quiere acabar con el crimen y se pone su máscara, es secuestrado por el antiguo némesis de su padre: El capitán
(Héctor Soberón). Ramón tendrá que volver a ponerse la máscara para rescatar a su hijo con la ayuda de la detective Reyes (Ana Jimena Villanueva). Después de treinta años, El Halcón volverá a volar,
esta vez buscando venganza.

Inspirado en el campeón mundial de peso pesado José Luis Melchor Ortiz, también conocido como Danny Ortiz, el director Eduardo Valenzuela estrenó en cines la película El Halcón, que formó parte de la programación del 21° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM).

During his glory days, El Halcón (Guillermo Quintanilla) fought for justice. One day, a terrible event changes the course of his life and that of all the wrestlers, who are forced to withdraw from the public eye. Ramón remains far from the ring and continues his life with his son Pancho (Ianis Guerrero), as the owner of a taqueria where they must deal with the gang of thugs terrorizing Tijuana.

When Pancho wants to end crime and puts on his mask, he is kidnapped by his father’s old nemesis: The captain (Héctor Soberón). Ramon will have to wear the mask again to rescue his son with the help of Detective Reyes (Ana Jimena Villanueva). After thirty years, El Halcón will fly again, this time seeking revenge.

Inspired by the world’s heavyweight champion José Luis Melchor Ortiz, also known as Danny Ortiz, director Eduardo Valenzuela, released in theaters the film El Halcón, which was part of the program of the 21st Morelia International Film Festival (FICM).
