In this video, a hydrodynamic model has been created to simulate unsteady flow in River Nile. The illustration has been conducted from the very beginning starting from downloading the DEM with resolution 12m then exporting it to HEC-RAS.
Moreover, the boundary conditions were generated at the beginning and end of the adopted reach.
Consequentially, the unsteady discharge has been assumed. Penultimately, the solution plan was established and finally the water depth and velocity have been shown spatially.
