Today OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 4.1.7 update for the phones that brought Android 7.1.1 for all the users.

It also brings back expanded screenshots, adds Android security patch for August, 2017, brings improvements, fixes several bugs and more. Check out the complete changelog below.

The OTA update for both the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T is 353MB in size and is gradually rolling out for a small percentage of users, and the broader rollout will happen in the next few days.

If you want to manually want to update the phone follow these steps :-

1)Make sure that your OnePlus 3 or the OnePlus 3T is charged and connected to the internet.

2)Download and install a VPN app. The TurboVPN/VPN Master are free and available on the Google Play store.

2)Open the TurboVPN/VPN Master app and connect to a VPN server.

3)Once connected, change the location of the VPN server to Canada or Germany.

4)Go to the phone settings and check for the software update. The OxygenOS 4.1.7 will be available for your phone.

5)If you want, now you can disconnect the VPN.
