The Real-Life "Lone Survivor," US Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell Tells His Story To Karyn Bryant

#KarynBryant sat down with retired Navy SEAL #MarcusLuttrell and got the harrowing true story behind his book, "Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Red Wings and the Lost Heroes of SEAL Team 10." On January 10, 2014, the film version of his story hits theaters, with #MarkWahlberg in the starring role. This interview was recorded on May 25, 2011, when Marcus was in Las Vegas for a UFC event and part of the interview aired in episode 2.17 of MMA H.E.A.T. In this complete/unedited video, Marcus talks about the tragedy of losing numerous teammates, his experiences with the Taliban and al-Queda, whether he thinks the "War on Terrorism" can be won and how he was able to process what happened to him. He also talks about his appreciation for what MMA fighters do- especially his close friend Brian Stann (who is now retired from fighting). #LoneSurvivor
