Introduction to medical mentoring - Dr JuMP

Описание к видео Introduction to medical mentoring - Dr JuMP

Dr Angelina Salamone, MCCC Director of Medical Education and Training, introduces the Dr JuMP medical mentoring program.

The coordinated program aims to support medical students, junior doctors, rural GPs and GP proceduralists who live and work in rural communities.

In this playlist, as well as this introductory video, we have an example of how to start a mentoring relationship. Upcoming videos will cover how to end a mentoring relationship which isn't working and dealing with conflict or difficult personal stories.

We are looking to encourage both mentors and mentees to register for the Dr JuMP program for 2021 and make a difference to the healthcare community.

See https://www.mccc.com.au/mentoring-wit... for more information, or to sign up, visit https://mentorloop.com/drjumpportal/

The project was developed through a working group set up by the collaborating partners with representatives from MCCC GP Training, the training hubs at University of Melbourne, Monash University, Deakin University and University of New South Wales; The Victorian Rural Generalist Program, Rural Workforce Agency Victoria, Post Graduate Medical Council of Victoria and Echuca Health (representing regional hospitals within the MCCC footprint).
