The Smart Grinder™ Pro has the ability to extend the grind range with its adjustable upper burr, allowing you to refine your grind to discover your favorite flavors. If you are an advanced coffee enthusiast, use this guide and find out how to extend your grind range and create the perfect brew for you.

Instructions:
1. Start by unlocking the bean hopper and hold it over an empty airtight container, turning the dial to release the beans into it.
2. Align the bean hopper back into position and lock into place before pressing the Start/Cancel button to run the grinder until empty.
3. You can now remove the hopper and pull out the upper burr by rotating the wire handle counter clockwise and lifting.
4. Remove the wire handle on the burr first, then you’ll see the default setting on the burr is 6. To adjust for courser or finer grind move the adjustable top burr. We recommend by one increment. Then align the number with the handle opening.
5. Reinsert the wire handle on both sides of the burr and push the upper burr back into position, rotate clockwise to lock into place.
6. Align the hopper back into position, turn the dial clockwise to lock and refill with your fresh beans.
