Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the 57th Raising Day celebration of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Mundali in Cuttack district, where CISF personnel showcased their operational preparedness through an intense mock drill. During the demonstration, armed commandos simulated a plane hijack situation and displayed how passengers are safely rescued during such emergencies. The jawans performed the tactical operation in front of the Union Home Minister and other dignitaries, highlighting the force’s capability to respond to aviation security threats. The mock exercise illustrated how CISF teams neutralise armed attackers and evacuate passengers during a hijacking scenario, giving a glimpse of the training and coordination used to handle real-life crises.
