Talk about having your cake and eating it too!

In this video we show you how to make an epic meat cake out of pork ribs, brisket slices and burnt ends, wings and pulled pork! This would be perfect for any event and will provide for an instant conversation starter!

My wife, Erin and I were getting tired of cooking the same things over and over. For this years Super Bowl, we decided to make a cake for the game. Not your traditional cake.....a MEAT CAKE!

All of the ingredients will be listed at the end.

Started off using Chigger Creek Wood Products lump charcoal in my offset reverse flow smoker. Added in their Cherry and Pecan wood for awesome flavor.

Ran between 275-300 degrees. Put ribs, pork butts and brisket on all at the same time. The ribs got done first. Then wrapped them in foil and set aside while everything else finished cooking.

I seasoned the ribs and pork butts with Meat Mitch rub. This stuff is seriously awesome and it provides a very unique flavor that pairs very well with all pork products and chicken as well.

For sauce, I used Stick Pig BBQ Sauce. This is made locally in Centralia, MO. It also has a very unique flavor and that have several variations of sauces available.

Once everything was cooked, we wrapped the ribs around a bowl to make its shape and tied them up with twine. Stuffed the center with pulled pork. Then overlaid sliced brisket on top. Then piled on more pulled pork. This thing was starting to look pretty gnarly! Added the chicken wings around the edges. Then topped it off with burnt ends and a few more wings.

This was definitely fun to build/cook. Maybe we will go bigger and better next year! Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe!
