Are you a quality Self-Employed Financial Adviser that owns your clients, works solo, but would like to be part of a bigger group without giving up ownership, wants to ‘conquer the chaos’ and get back to doing what you love, which is seeing clients?

Manly Financial Services Pty Ltd (MFS) is a successful Financial Planning Practice based on the Northern Beaches and is currently looking to expand its operations by establishing a second office in Sydney, preferably in the CBD, with five Self Employed Financial Advisers, that will eventually scale to ten over the coming years.

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from Financial Advisers that have growing financial planning businesses and know the non-core operations of running their business themselves is affecting their profitability and growth.

They must have consistent values and mindset with our culture and are client centric, willing to invest in their business by outsourcing all their operations and processes, to become more efficient, so they can spend more time developing client relationships.

Manly Financial Services has an outsourced solution that focuses on taking away the non-core operations such as business management, staffing, marketing, IT and cybersecurity, compliance and workflows, allowing the financial planner to do what they do best in delivering financial advice and servicing clients to help them achieve their goals.

Whilst this is an outsourced solution, we are much more than that. We are a fellow financial planning practice that understands the intricacies and challenges ever present in the financial planning industry and a trusted partner that can help you navigate this ever-changing environment.

We see this as a long-term investment and partnership. We see you as part of our future with a potential for equity at a later stage if that is of interest and minimum criteria are met.

The Successful Financial Advisers
You will possess the following qualities, skills, knowledge, and experience:
• Own your own Financial Planning Practice and clients and can move licensees.
• Have Strong organisational skills with a growth mindset, want to grow your business, clients, and revenue.
• Existing ongoing revenue of $150,000 p.a and want to build it to over $400,000 p.a.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ Financial Planning experience providing quality advice.
• Broad financial advice knowledge. Eg Investments, Insurance, Centrelink and Retirement Planning.
• Client centric approach to advice
• Strong focus on compliance, clear understanding of legislative requirements and client’s best interests and share our firm’s values and mission.
• Have a strong compliance history and background in terms of audit results.
• FASEA compliant, and intention to complete the education requirements.
• Looking for an environment where you can collaborate with other advisers and gain administration, para planning, IT, marketing, and compliance support.
• Will follow our existing new business and ongoing service process to provide advice to new and existing clients.
• Experience in dealing with business referrers such as accountants, lawyers, and mortgage brokers.
• Familiarity with Adviserlogic software a plus but not essential
• A proactive, good communicator with an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a small office as part of a small, flexible team

Qualifications and Requirements
• Minimum Dip FP FS (Diploma Financial Planning Financial Services). Advanced Dip FP FS preferred.
• FASEA compliant - working towards or close to completing the FASEA exam.
• Working towards completing the Graduate Diploma Financial Planning minimum requirements for Financial Advisers by 2026
• Already ASIC Registered and FAR registered
