Suzanne Crough was a former child actress best known for her performance as Tracy, the youngest member of The Partridge Family. That show followed the career of a family of musical performers lead by a widowed matriarch played by Shirley Jones. It came on the air in 1970, and new episodes aired until 1974. During that period, the group was also taken seriously as a musical unit on the pop charts. David Cassidy portrayed the eldest of the Partridge siblings, and Danny Bonaduce portrayed the middle child. Although Cassidy found some considerable success after the show's end, the other children didn't have quite as much luck. Danny Bonaduce became infamous due to several reality show appearances, including his own show Breaking Bonaduce. Suzanne Crough received middling guest appearances on television until retiring in 1980 to go to college.

Suzanne ran a successful bookstore until 1993. After that period, she worked as a store manager at an OfficeMax. In the 2000s, she considered getting back into the acting game. She signed a contract with VH1 to appear in The New Partridge Family, though the idea didn't fully come to fruition. After a pregnancy leading to a second child, she struggled to find the time to pursue an acting career. In 2015, it was announced that she had died of a rare medical phenomenon. This marked the first Partridge sibling to pass away, though another was soon going to follow with elder sibling David Cassidy.
