The Los Santos Slasher Serial Killer is a fun side mission in GTA Online, but don't forget that you can only do this once as I learned to my cost :(

There are 4 clues always in the same location and then the 5th clue, the van, is in one of 5 possible locations. Once you've found all the clues you receive a message from the killer and then he will hunt you down the next time you are in Blaine County (in north of map around the big lake, e.g. location of Trevor's trailer & Sandy Shores airfield) between 7pm and 5am. He will keep spawning there between those times until you take him out.

Once you've taken him out you unlock the Navy Revolver - take out 50 people with it for a sweet $200k.
