MG HS 1.5 Turbo Review, Pakistan / Should you Buy it in 2022?

In this review of MG HS 2022, we have a freshly delivered MG HS with new meter (all digital instrument cluster). It's the CBU imported into Pakistan by MG Motor Pakistan. In this review, we have discussed about MG as a brand, talked about the specs and features of MG HS 1.5 Turbo and how it has managed to gain so many buyers in Pakistan.

We have also reviewed the practicality and driving dynamics of MG HS. It has a lot of class leading features like 3 interior color options, 360 degree camera system and adaptive cruise control. In terms of it's engine performance, the 0-100 test showed a result of 10 seconds which is fairly standard in this segment, especially if we compare it to Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson.

We have also featured a segment in which we take you guys on its Point of View (POV) drive to show it's driver's visibility and blindspots. In terms of Practicality and passenger comfort, MG HS 2021 has 6 cup holders and ISO-Fix childseat anchors at the rear seat. It also has 6-Airbags unlike any of its Pakistani made competitors like Kia Sportage.

The fuel average of MG HS is another important aspect. Since MG HS has a 1.5L turbo petrol engine therefore, it is recommended to use HOBC fuel, which would increase the running cost of the car. In the test unit provided to us, the average combined fuel economy was between 9-10 KM/L. These fuel economy figures can vary based on various factors like car condition, driving style and outside temperature.
