Rainy Days and Mondays - Carpenters Cover

Here's my take on the Carpenters 1971 hit song "Rainy Days and Mondays". I've been in love with this song since my lovely mum introduced me to it when I was younger, alongside the late Karen Carpenter's tragic tale. I know everyone says it, but her vocals were truly something unique and special - and of course remain unchallenged by me here! I merely did my best given that I had to cover Richard's parts too, and Bob Messenger's Tenor Sax bit - all in one flowing multi-tasked blur. And as for the Wrecking Crew's rhythm section - well I just tried not to sound awful, cos I ain't no Wrecking Crew. A wreck maybe, by take 12 or 13 or so. Hope you enjoy!
