Every year, we have hundreds of giant dragonflies and swallows that eat winged ants that are emerging from our lawn. The ants emerge in late summer to mate and establish new colonies. They slowly "fly" straight up, making them easy prey for the dragonflies and swallows. But, this video shows a huge number of giant dragonflies -- more than I've every seen before. It was kinda' scary! But cool.
