NS 1074 West, the "Lackawanna" Heritage Engine on 7-6-2013

Norfolk Southern's Delaware Lackawanna & Western Heritage engine is up front of an empty crude oil train on the BNSF's Aurora subdivision. The SD70ACe led train is bound for the North Dakota oil fields. I believe the train ID is U NSDTND4

The online buzz started early about this train. So after a 0730 SD70M-2 catch on the CN (video later) I took off for points west on the Aurora sub. When the train got moving out of Chicago at about 0745, the light was not the best for the westbound train. But then there were numerous delays. Delays that, for me at least, would put it in better light. I caught it pretty much at high sun. However, it was better than the earlier alternative.
