Ginseng expert, Bob Beyfuss, exposes a $2-3,000 ginseng root which is preserved to collect the plant's seeds in order to preserve the genetic strain. We look at two different seeds, one whose embryo has developed and is ready to germinate next spring and one which still needs two cold treatments before it can break dormancy.
